Shreyas Gramin Bank, sponsored by Canara Bank came into existence on 1st June 2006 after amalgamation of three RRBs i.e. Aligarh Gramin Bank, Etah Gramin Bank & Jamuna Gramin Bank. The bank has come up as a large and effective Banking Institution in Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Manyawar Kanshiram Nagar, Agra, Mathura & Firozabad Districts with its wide network of 203 Branches.
Shreyas Gramin Bank is now inviting applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale III), Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management Grade (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 1.06.12) and Other Norms:
(A) Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
  • Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Proficiency in  Hindi Language of the Uttar Pradesh State and must have passed “ HINDI” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
  • Age Limit: Between 18 years and 28 years
  • Probation Period: 1 year
  • RRB Qualifying Standard Score:
–> For General & OBC- 19 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 95 & above marks.
–> For Others:  17 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 89 & above marks.
  • Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
(B) Officer Scale-I:
  • Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Proficiency in  Hindi Language of the Uttar Pradesh State and must have passed “ HINDI” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
  • Age Limit: Above 18 years – Below 28 years
  • Probation Period: 2 years

–> For Others:  17 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 97 & above marks.
  • Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRB-Common Written  Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
(C) Officer Scale-II (General Banking  Officer):
  • Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Experience: Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Age Limit: Above 21 years – Below 32 years
  • Probation Period: 2 Years
  • RRB Qualifying Standard Score:
–> For General & OBC- 19 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 114 & above marks.
–> For Others:  17 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 108 & above marks.
  • Selection Procedure:Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRB- Common Written  Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
 (D) Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officer- Chartered Accountant, Treasury Manager and Agricultural Officer):
  • Educational Qualification & Experience: 
  1. Chartered Accountant: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and experience of 1 year.
  2. Treasury Manager: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized university/ institution and experience of 1 year.
  3. Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and experience of  two years.
  4. Information Technology: Degree from a recognised University in Electronics /Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and desirable experience in Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc for 1 year.
  • Age Limit: Above 21 years – Below 32 years.
  • Probation Period: 2 Years
  • RRB Qualifying Standard Score 
For CA, Treasury Manager and Agricultural Officer:
–> For General & OBC- 19 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 122 & above marks.
–> For Others:  17 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 108 & above marks.
For Information Technology (IT):
–> For General & OBC- 24 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 134 & above marks.
–> For Others:  21 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 125 & above marks.
  • Selection Procedure:
For Specialist Officer- Chartered Accountant, Treasury Manager and Agricultural Officer:–> Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRB-Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
–>For (Specialist Officer- IT officer): 
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in IBPS Score on Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the Common Written Examination conducted for Public Sector Banks for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
(E) Officer Scale-III:
  • Educational Qualification:Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Age Limit: Below 40 years
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.
  • Probation Period: 2 Years
  • RRB Qualifying Standard Score:
–> For General & OBC- 19 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 114 & above marks.
–> For Others:  17 marks and above in each section and Total Weighted Standard Score(TWSS) of 109 & above marks.
  • Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRB-Common Written  Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
