N.T. Somashekar did his postgraduation from Manasagangothri University of Mysore, Mysore. He is also a law graduate from Sheshadripuram Law College,Bangalore. He has served as lecturer in economics in several reputed colleges. He was also nominated as the `Member of Academic Council` and `Member of Principals` Subcommittee` of Bangalore University, Bangalore. He is at present doing his research work in Economics in Bangalore University. To his credit, he has written several books.
